On February 23rd country music fans gathered at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ . The evening was hosted by Thunder 106.
Lauren Davidson kicked off the night. The Freehold native told us, “I’ve been wanting to play at iPlay America ever since I found out they were going to be having concerts there. It was well worth the wait. Playing in my hometown to a packed house with Craig Campbell was so special and the crowd was electric. I felt a sense of hometown pride that I’ve never felt before in my life.”
Lauren Davidson is a very talented singer/songwriter who has been making a name for herself in the NYC music scene. From the moment she steps on stage, she knows how to grab the crowds’ attention with her unique and powerful voice, energy, and her interaction with her band. It is very apparent that she loves performing and the crowd loves her too.
Lauren’s set included all original tunes. “Don’t Stop”, “Hear Me”, “It’s You”, “Right Here With Me” and her single “Sometimes” are all from her EP. In a New Jersey Venue, surrounded by Jersey natives, Lauren got the crowd cheering with her song “Jersey Girl”. Lauren slowed things down with her brand new ballad, “Pouring Rain”. Nothing can be better at a country concert that a song about drinking and Lauren brought it with “I’ll Drink To That”.
